The vibronic features of jet-cooled p-ethylaniline, p-ethylaniline-NHD and p-ethylaniline-ND_2 near their S_1 <- S_0 electronic transitions were simultaneously recorded using resonant two-photon ionization time-of-flight mass spectrometry (TOFMS). The present investigation on the frequency shifts provide an explicit confirmation for the spectral assignment. Aanalyses show that most of the observed vibronic transitions involving ring vibrations are little influenced by the N-duteration in p-ethylaniline. Transitions related to the ethyl bending and the amino inversion motions are also observed.
