Conservative laparoscopic management of a case of ruptured ovarian ectopic pregnancy by using a Harmonic scalpel.

Ovarian ectopic pregnancy is very rare. It is a potentially life-threatening condition that usually presents with pain accompanied with intraperitoneal haemorrhage. Management is essentially surgical and diagnosis is often made during surgery, however, it should be confirmed histologically Only a few cases of confirmed ovarian ectopic pregnancy have been reported in the literature. I report a case of ovarian ectopic pregnancy in a patient presenting with lower abdominal pain at 8 weeks' gestational age. The ovarian ectopic pregnancy was resected laparoscopically by using a Harmonic scalpel.
