On the multiplexed limit capacity of spectrally overlapped continuous wave fibre Bragg grating sensor networks

An analysis is performed concerning the spectral effects of multiple scattering in optimally designed sensor networks with a continuous wave interrogating light source. A greater understanding of the nature of crosstalk in these systems is established from the theoretical results. Expectation values and optimal configurations are determined from the simulations of sensor networks of various sizes and configurations.
