摘要

The paper reports on development of online condition monitoring instrumentation system based on axial leakage flux monitoring technique for online condition monitoring of mine winder motor i.e. 3-phase slip ring induction motor. Axial leakage fluxes arise due to asymmetries in electric and magnetic circuit of the motor will be sensed by a search coil wound around the shaft of motor. Axial leakage field and harmonics present in the leakage flux will depend on the type of fault of the motor. Using state variable band pass filter, the harmonics present in the axial leakage flux is monitored continuously for determination of mine winder motor condition. The residt has been verified with the result obtained by FFT based signature analysis. The harmonics and their magnitude will be displayed by LED display unit continuously where form the condition of the mine winder motor can be ascertained.
