摘要

Ambigel form of MnO2 was prepared from sodium permanganate and sodium fumarate using sol-gel method. Capacitance measurement was carried out using cyclic voltammetric technique using three electrode method. Electrolyte used was 1M NaCl. Capacitance was measured in acidic, neutral and basic ranges. Stability of ambigel form of MnO2 was studied up to 800 cycles. Capacitance fading was observed after 200 cycles. Fading of capacitance was circumvented by addition of Cobalt to MnO2. Cobalt doped MnO2 was prepared using sol-gel technique. Progressive enhancement of charge was observed up to 100 cycles. Constant capacitance was observed up to 800 cycles for Co doped MnO2.
