Effect of nimbitor alone and in combination with insecticides and urea against rice leaf folder, Cnaphalocrocis medinalis (Gunee)

Nimbitor (ZA-199) alone and in combination with three insecticides and urea was tested in field against rice leaf folder, Cnaphalocrocis medinalis. The treatment with 0.007% cypermethrin + 1.5% Nimbitor was the most effective against leaf folder. The treatments with 2.5% Nimbitor was most effective among the treatment with Nimbitor alone followed by 2.0% and 1.5% Nimbitor. Effect of Nimbitor was increase at increased concentration. The treatment with 2.0% urea + 1.5% Nimbitor was the least effective. The maximum reduction in pest population was observed at 3 days post-treatment in all the treatments.
