Liebherr is a progressive group of international companies whose name is synonymous with innovative quality products incorporating the latest advancements in technology. Liebherr IZ3 companies are dedicated to design, manufacture and service exceptionally high quality products for a multitude of industries. In 2003 the Group's total turnover was more than 4.1 billion Euro, generated by over 21,000 employees in more than 90 companies throughout the world. The successful development of the company is inseparably linked with its founder Hans Liebherr. He created an entire group of companies out of modest beginnings in 1949 and left behind an impressive legacy when he died in 1993. To safeguard Hans Liebherr's principles and to continue the successful development, the second Liebherr generation took over. The Group is now being managed jointly by Isolde Liebherr and her brother Will! Liebherr.
