摘要

Five compounds 17-tritriacontanone, 1-hentriacontanol, beta -sitosterol, wedelolactone, and hirtin were isolated and characterized from methanolic extract of the plant of Eclipta alba (L.) Hassk on the basis of spectral analysis. Methanolic and water extract of Eclipta alba (L.) Hassk were evaluated against Colletotrichum falcatum and Rhizoctonia solani fungi at different concentrations. Water extract was found more active in comparison to methanolic extract at 2000 micro g/mL concentration against both the tested fungi.
