India's NTPC floats two tenders for combined 2 million mt

India's largest power generator NTPC Limited has floated two tenders for 1.1 million mt and 900,000 mt of imported thermal coal for eight of its power stations across the country. The larger tender is for its Farakka power plant in West Bengal and Kahalgaon power plant in Bihar, while the second is for its Dadri plant in Delhi and Rihand, Singrauli, Tanda, Unchahar and Vindhyachal power plants in Uttar Pradesh.
