Chamber Mining with Roof Caving at the Nikolaevsk Mine

摘要

The results are considered for the in situ testing of a new variant of chamber mining with roof caving by the chamber - pillar scheme under complicated conditions at large depths. It is shown that the increased horizontal stresses in a rock mass promote improvement of the undermined roof stability and give an opportunity to raise the volumes of chamber mining.
