The application of the concept of the ideal supermolecular paracrystal (ISP) to calculation, graphical presentation, and analysis of small-angle x-ray scattering (SAXS) from several models of supermolecular organization of highly oriented semicrystalline polymers is presented. Examples include simple models of fibrils with rectangular, skew-angular, or chevronlike crystallites, as well as Bonart's layer lattice.
