摘要

Nonmetallic inclusions, when present in aluminum melt, are considered to have a negative impact on machinability and mechanical properties as well as increasing gas porosity and shrinkage and reducing the fluidity of the metal. With increased emphasis upon productivity and cost of quality, a better method should be developed so that the metal poured in castings may have the maximum purity and freedom from nonmetallic impurities [1,2].
