Since the discovery of icosahedral (I-) quasicrystal (QC) by Shechtman et al. [1], a large number of studies have been carried out to find new quasicrystals and to elucidate structures and physical properties [2]. Among the various types of QCs, decagonal (D-) and icosahedral QCs are then most extensively studied on account of their mechanical and other physical properties.
