摘要

Ca1-xZnxFe2O4, used in double-phase systems, exhibits interesting electrical and magnetic properties [1-4]. Among the Ca1-xZnxFe204 systems, Ca0.5Zno,5Fe204 is the main member of the group to be studied in detail. It is generally believed that electrical transport properties in Cao.sZtio.jFeiCU are explained in terms of an electron-hopping process between transition metal ions; that is, a thermally activated hopping process of small polarons between Fe3+ and Fe2+ plays an important role in the transport properties [1,2,4]. If virtual small polaron conductions take place in this system, more direct evidence for hopping dynamics of the polaron is required.
