摘要

Isotactic polypropylene (iPP), as a nonpolar polymer, has poor adhesive properties to other materials. It is water repellent, which is manifested by deterioration of surface wettability by polar liquids, e.g. water. This results in limitation of its potential applications. The effort to improve the adhesive characteristics of iPP [1-5] has been orientated towards finding methods suitable for this purpose and working out techniques of polymer surface modification. Several research and development facilities are working actively in this area at present [6,7].
