摘要

The mechanical relaxation behaviour of high andlinear low density polyethylenes has been examind using tensiledynamic mechanical measurements and compared to thedeformation behaviour observed in tensile drawing . In this waythe relationship between the mechanical relaxations and thetensile deformation has been investigated. It is shown that thebrittle-ductile transition relates to theγ- relaxation while theyield behaviour is related to the interlamelllar shear process nadthe c-shear process.
