The publisher regrets that in the above article Eqs. (19) and (21) and the first paragraph of Section 4.2 were printed incorrectly. The publisher also regrets that Fig. 10 was printed incorrectly. The corrected version is printed below. Please find them reproduced correctly below. The ring-compression test has been proven to be a simple method for determining friction parameters in bulk metal forming. The geometrical size of ring specimen usually is utilized as 6:3:2 [23]. The ring specimens were machined into 30 mm (outer diameter), 15 mm (inner diameter) and 10 mm (height).
