A HIGHLY FLEXIBLE MODULAR RADIO CHEMISTRY SYSTEM

Most commercially available radiochemistry systems are designed for production of a single radiotracer, or a limited group of tracers based on similar labelling methods. Rebuilding of existing systems, or constructing new automated systems for production of a new radiotracers, can be very time consuming. We have addressed this problem by developing a series of modules (robot, microwave cavity, valves, pumps, detectors, etc.) that can quickly be combined to a system for production of almost any known radiotracer, and as a tool for development of new tracers.
