Cundinamarca, Boyaca and Santander departments to become larger thermal coal producers

Investors are enthusiastic about the prospects for increasing coal production in the Cundinamarca, Boyaca and Santander regions in Colombia. According to Fenalcarbon, coal reserves in the region exceed 2.2 billion tonnes, with half consisting of thermal and half good quality metallurgical coal.
