Studies on the integration of egg parasitoids, Trichogramma chilonis and Trichogmmma japonicum with cartap hydrochioride (Padan 4 G) were carried out at farmer's field on basmati rice for the management of leaf folder, Cnaphalocrocis medinalis and stem borer, Scirpophaga incertulas. Releases @ 1,00,000; 1,25,000 and 1,50,000 per ha of each Trichogramma species evaluated in combination with cartap hydrochioride 4 G showed that the infestation of C. medinalis and S. incertulas was reduced and yield andparasitization increased. Four simultaneous releases of both the Trichogramma species @ 1,00,000 to 1,50,000 per ha starting 50 days after transplant (DAT) can be integrated with one application of cartap hydrochioride 4 G (30 DAT). It was on par with three applications of cartap hydrochioride 4 G (30,50,70 DAT) in controlling stem borer and leaf folder in basmati rice.
