POPULATION DYNAMICS OF ANTIGASTRA CATALAUNALIS DUPONCHEL ON SOME GENOTYPES OF SESAME, SESAMUMINDICUM L

摘要

Population dynamics of Antigastra catalaunalis was studied on 40 cultivars of sesame. The first appearance of pest was observed on 28-day-old plants. From third observation onwards, all cultivars were found to be infested. The infestation peaked during second week of October. Temperature, relative humidity and rainfall had negative effects on the pest.
