Reverse myocardial and vascular uptake of in-111 pentetreotide in vasculitis.

摘要

Somatostatin receptor scintigraphy is habitually indicated in the evaluation of neuroendocrine tumors. We report the case of a 44-year-old woman with an unexpected vasculitis, which was detected on In-Ill pentetreotide scintigraphy. Vascular uptake of the tracer was observed at presentation and disappeared after 3 months of corticotherapy.
