The Schrodinger-Poisson equation under the effect of a nonlinear local term

In this paper we study the problem where u, phi : R-3 --> R are positive radial functions, lambda > 0 and 1 < p < 5. We give existence and nonexistence results, depending on the parameters p and lambda. It turns out that p = 2 is a critical value for the existence of solutions.
