On Riesz transforms for Laguerre expansions

We prove that Riesz transforms and conjugate Poisson integrals associated with the multidimensional Laguerre semigroup are bounded in L-p, 1 < p < infinity. Our main tools are appropriately defined square functions and the Littlewood-Paley-Stein theory. (C) 2003 Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved.
