摘要

The Web Services Resource Framework (WSRF) is a set of specifications which define a generic and open framework for modeling and ac_cessing stateful resources using Web services. This paper proposes DynaGrid, a new framework for WSRF-compliant applications. Many new com_ponents, such as ServiceDoor, Dynamic Service Launcher, ClientProxy, and PartitionManager, have been introduced to offer adaptive, scalable, and reliable resource provisioning. All of these components are implemented as standard WSRF_compliant Web services, hence DynaGrid is complementary to the existing GT4. Our exper_imental evaluation shows that DynaGrid effec_tively utilizes Grid resources by allocating only the required number of resources adaptively accord_ing to the amount of incoming requests, provid_ing both the scalability and the reliability at the same time.
