An examination of food safety issues

摘要

US consumer concerns regarding food safety have increased in recent years. This article discusses the main reasons for the increased consumer food safety concerns and gives an overview of the responsibilities of the institutions that have been initiated in response to domestic and global consumer concerns. Moreover, the impact of consumer food safety concerns on marketing of agricultural products is examined, and problems and solutions are discussed.
