摘要

Nineteen specimens of a new trematode of the genus Allocreadium Looss, 1900 was collected from the intestine of Channapunctatus (Bloch.). It differs from the all existing species of the Genus. The worms are characterised by presence of oesophagus, absence of prepharynx and extension of vitellaria. Hence, a detailed description and status of this worm is given below in this paper.
