摘要

The population of cutworm Agrotis ipsilon (Hufn.), attained the first peak in mid of December under the environmental conditions of 13.7-28.2 degrees C temperature, 51-99.6% relative humidity, 8.6-9.0 h bright sunshine and 0.4-0.5 km/h wind speed with no precipitation. Second peak was recorded during third to fourth week of March, when temperature ranged from 0.7-6.0 km/h with little eratic rainfall. It was revealed that 16.8-31.5 degrees C, RH, 27-100%, BSS duration 1.9-10.3 h and wind speed from 0.7-6.0 Km/h temperature, BSS and WS had significant positive effect on population build up of the pest. While, RH was negatively correlated. Temperature had the most profound effect on population build up of cutworm in potato growing season. Potato tuber moth showed sporadic and eratic incidence.
