摘要

For the first time a phenomenon of artificial temperature anisotropy of crystals is revealed in the X-ray frequency range and an attempt is made to explain theoretically the phenomenon in the case of the Bragg-Laue diffraction. It is established that an isotropic crystal artificially becomes optically anisotropic like an uniaxial crystal with the optical axis along the direction of an applied external excitation, which is the symmetry axis, leading to birefringence.
