It takes an eminent scholar, and a bold one, to propose a framework for the "unification of the behavioral sciences". It is a formidable scientific challenge to provide analytical tools that can serve as a common basis for all of the behavioral sciences, and such an attempt is bound to meet with skepticism, if not with outright rejection, from those vested in traditional disciplinary discourses. Herbert Ginits, no doubt, is an eminent scholar and he does not seem to fear critique from within the "feudal organization of the behavioral disciplines in the contemporary university system ... that values comfort and tradition over the straggle for truth" (p. xvi).
