Vector analysis terminology

In their article on the outcome of myopic astigmatism corrected by femtosecond refractive lenticule extraction, Kunert et al. attributed a series of vector analysis outcome measures to Eydelman et al. Eydel-man et al. modified the terminology of a prior methodology first described by Alpins. This was pointed out in a correspondence subsequent to Eydelman's publication. In the interest of accurate attribution, it would be better if Alpins1 original material were referenced by Kunert et al. instead of or in conjunction with recommendations subsequently published by Eydelman et al.
