N IS A 17-YEAR-OLD CAUCASIAN ADOLESCENT who Carries di-agnoses of pervasive developmental disorder-not otherwise specified (PDD-NOS), obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), bipolar disorder-not otherwise specified (NOS) mild mental retardation, and medication-induced movement disorder. N. was referred for hospitalization for active suicidal and homicidal thoughts.
