Siemens VAI to supply four conticasters for Formosa Ha Tinh Steel Corporation (Vietnam)

Formosa Heavy Industries Corporation (Taiwan), one of the main operations of Formosa Plastic Group, has ordered four conticasters from Siemens VAI (Austria) as a part of the construction of a new plant Formosa Ha Tinh Steel Corporation in Vietnam. Two slab casters, one bloom caster and one billet caster with a total capacity of 8.1 mtpy are scheduled for commissioning in mid-2015.
