Export prices for South Korean billet with February shipment to grow

Although square billet buyers from Asia intend to get lower prices, South Korean exporters do not plan any reductions given stabilization of US scrap prices and increased cost of Japanese material ($6-12/t up in a week). As a result, suppliers are still starting to sell at $560-565/t FOB January shipment, in line with the early-December levels.
