At the end of the third week-the beginning of the fourth week of April, no contracts have been signed in the Taiwanesemarket for scrap since American scrap collectors have gone on Easter holidays. Demand for Japanese materialremains weak on still high prices. Besides, many importers are afraid of possible radiation.
