BHP Billiton Mitsubishi Alliance to increase throughput capacity of Hay Point terminal

BMA plans to increase throughput capacity of Hay Point coal terminal from current 44 mtpy to 55 mtpy. The company will invest $2.5 bln into the project. Coal loading will start there in fiscal 2014 and the terminal will reach its designed capacity within 12 months. Currently, the project is completed by 28%.
