Most consumers in China still delay iron ore bookings, as the finished products market is dull. Steelmakers mainly consider it unfeasible to buy iron ore at current prices in view of much softer finished products quotations. At the same time, iron ore supply is limited. Brazilian suppliers have not tabled new offers to China yet this week, while many trading companies also prefer to wait and see.
