African Minerals cuts Q3 iron ore mining at Tonkolili (Sierra-Leone)

In July-September, African Minerals extracted 3 mt of iron ore at its Tonkolili asset (Sierra Leone), 25% down quarter-on-quarter. Mining and shipments have dropped to 4.7 mt (1.3% down) and 2.8 mt (17.6%) respectively over the same period. The drop in iron ore extraction is attributed to technical problems. However, all breakages were dealt with back in September.
