Export contract prices for Korean galvanized flats going up

As demand for galvanized steel products in South-East Asia is rallying gradually, the situation in South Korea’s export market for these products has improved. As a result, sales of Hyundai Hysco increased and the producer has raised contract prices for 1 mm thick product with 120 g/sq m zinc coating to $740-745/t FOB, shipment in October, up by $10-15/t from probable deal prices of a week before.
