Stanmore Coal (Australia) reveals details of Belview coal project

The underground mine will extract the material by longwall mining. Initially it will produce 3.4 mtpy of run-of-mine hard coking coal (moisture - 10%; ash - 5.9%, volatiles - 19.4%, carbon - 64.7%, sulphur - max. 0.37%; CSN - 7.5) and PCI (moisture - max. 10%, ash - 9.1%, volatiles - 18.9%; carbon - 62%; sulphur - max. 0.32%; CSN - 2) in equal volumes. The asset will produce as much as 2.9 mtpy of coal concentrate.
