Gindalbie Metals (Australia) raises iron ore sales in Q1

Australia’s Gindalbie Metals increased total iron ore shipments to 1.48 mt in Q1 (14% up) owing to the beginning of supplies of magnetite concentrate from Karara mine in January 2013. Thus, 5 lots containing 283,000 t of the material were sold during the above period. Shipments of hematite DSO (direct shipping ore) decreased a bit compared to the previous quarter reaching 1.2 mt (8% down).
