There are just rare scrap transactions seen in Turkey nowadays; only the most pliable exporters can win contracts. At the end of last week, one US merchant sold 13,000 t of HMS 1&2 (80:20) at $369/t CFR, 10,000 t of shredded scrap at $374/t CFR and 2,000 t of P&S material at $379/t CFR Turkey, whereas the initial offers were $6-11/t higher.
