China’s Qingdao Iron and Steel has started hot tests of a coke battery No.1 at the new plant now underconstruction in Qingdao, Shandong province. The contractor MCC Group (China) released informationthat ongoing installation of electrical equipment for coke battery No.2 means a final stage of constructionof a 1.6 million tpy coking plant.
