In March Turkey’s Basatli Steel Pipe and Profile Ind plans to start the commercial production at a new180,000 tpy ERW mill aiming to offer bigger sizes, the company’s insider tells Metal Expert.The size range of products will be expanded thanks to an increase of the maximum diameter of roundtubes up to 273 mm and cross section for square hollow sections up to 200x200 mm and rectangularshapes up to 250x150 mm, the wall thickness will reach 16 mm (now up to 12 mm).
