The in vitro inhibition of 13 different insecticides (endosulfan, dimethoate, monocrotophos, malathion, chlorpyrifos, carbofuran, dichlorvos, quinalphos, triazophos, cypermethrin, alphametrin [alpha-cypermethrin] and phosphamidon) and one botanical (Neemerin [Azadirachta indica]) on Beauveria bassiana growth was tested. Two doses of chemical insecticides, one at recommended dose (RD) and another at 1/2 RD, and 3 doses for the botanical, first one at RD, 1/2 RD and 1/4 RD, were tested. A 100% of mycelial growth was observed when the entomopathogen was grown in presence of monocrotophos (0.31%) and dichlorvos (0.12%). Cypermethrin, deltamethrin, alphamethrin [alpha-cypermethrin] and phosphamidon at RD showed growth inhibition of <50%. Half RD of deltamethrin had the lowest inhibition (14.06%)..
