Custom-designed systems are becoming a more common request in the waterjetting industry. As manufacturers become more and more specialized in what they produce, so do their water jetting needs. They can no longer buy a system "off the shelf" and have it meet their specifications. Instead, they must seek out a company that designs and produces specialized machines that perform the exact task that is needed and perform that task efficiently. The task can be anything from removing old paint to cleaning sea mines for the military.
