You may not know me, but we have a connection and a common responsibility in the pressure washing industry. I work for a chemical manufacturing company in the southeastern United States. After coming to this company from the food manufacturing industry, one of the first issues I was tasked to resolve was to ensure that we had an onsite security plan in place for our facility. At the time, I didn't think of this security plan as much more than a token document that we needed to have on hand in the miniscule probability that some federal agency would stumble across our location and do a spot check on paperwork. I quickly found that my characterizing this task as mere token paperwork was not only an error in judgment, but potentially could also be a very costly error on my part.
