Distributions and abundance of Gymnocypris przewalskii (Kessler, 1876) in Qinghaihu Lake, China: an approach based on hydroacoustic sampling

Qinghaihu Lake is the largest inland saltwater lake in China. Designated in the Directory of Wetlands of International Importance in 1992, the lake was further approved as a national nature reserve in 1997 and as the National Aquatic Germplasm Resources Reserve in 2007. Main river contributors to water run-o are the Buhahe River, Haergai River and Heimahe River in western China, and the Shaliuhe River in northwestern China. The lake is ice-covered from late October to March.
