We investigate the relationship between inverse semigroups and a special class of seminear-rings. We show that when an inverse semigroup T generates a d.g. seminearring (S, T) then the representation of the seminear-ring (S, T) is faithful. Some other aspects of representation theory of seminear-rings are discussed in connection with the structure of the underlying semigroups.
