摘要

Studies were conducted in roadside drainage ditches in North Carolina, USA, to evaluate the potential of using SP1001 (pelargonic acid) as an adjuvant to replace surfactants customarily used during application of glyphosate for control of cattail (Typha latifolia) and alligator weed (Alternanthera philoxeroides). The results suggested that SP1001 does not appear to be an economically feasible replacement as a surfactant for use with glyphosate. At current application rates, the cost would probablybe prohibitive for effective management of both these weeds.
